Five Holy Pillars

The Foundation That Shapes Who We Are

At Christ Temple Fellowship, our Five Holy Pillars are not abstract ideas or changing values. They are Scripture-anchored foundations that God established to guide, strengthen, and sustain His people. These pillars have shaped our ministry in every season and continue to support us as we worship, grow, and prepare for what God has next.

Each pillar is rooted in the Word of God and stands as a spiritual support for our church, our families, and our community.

Pillar One – Isaiah 6:6-10

Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:

And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.

Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.

10 Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.

Purification, Calling and Obedience

This pillar reminds us that transformation begins with God. In Isaiah’s encounter, God purifies, calls, and commissions His servant for divine purpose. At Christ Temple Fellowship, this Scripture represents our commitment to spiritual cleansing, obedience, and readiness to respond when God speaks.

As a church, we believe that God still prepares His people for service today. Through repentance, humility, and submission to His will, we are shaped into vessels ready to carry His message with clarity and courage. This pillar grounds us in reverence and reminds us that every assignment begins in God’s presence.

Pillar Two – Isaiah 58:11-12

11 And the Lord shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.

12 And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.

Restoration, Renewal, and Rebuilding

God promises to guide, strengthen, and rebuild His people. This pillar speaks to restoration not only in individual lives, but within families, communities, and generations. It reflects God’s desire to use His people to repair broken places and restore what has been lost.

At Christ Temple Fellowship, this Scripture anchors our mission during seasons of rebuilding and relaunch. It reminds us that God supplies what we need, even in dry places, and calls us to be restorers for others. Through faith, service, and obedience, we stand committed to rebuilding lives on a firm spiritual foundation.

Pillar Three – Habakkuk 2:1-3

1 I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.

And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

Vision, Patience, and Divine Timing

This pillar centers on vision and trust. God calls His people to wait, watch, and write the vision clearly, trusting that it will come to pass at the appointed time. This Scripture teaches us patience and perseverance as we move forward in faith.

For Christ Temple Fellowship, this pillar guides how we plan, pray, and prepare for the future. Even in seasons that require waiting, we trust God’s timing and remain faithful to His instructions. Vision gives us direction, patience keeps us steady, and faith assures us that God’s promises will unfold exactly as He declared.

Pillar Four – Romans 8:1-2

1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Freedom, Life, and Victory in Christ

This pillar declares the freedom found in Jesus Christ. It reminds us that through Him, we are no longer bound by condemnation but empowered to live by the Spirit. God’s Word assures us that His people can walk in victory, peace, and spiritual liberty.

At Christ Temple Fellowship, this Scripture affirms our belief in healing, restoration, and transformed lives. We teach and live with confidence that God’s grace frees us from past burdens and leads us into new life. This pillar strengthens our faith and encourages us to walk boldly in the freedom God has given.

Pillar Five – James 5:13-16

13 Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.

14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:

15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Prayer, Healing, and Community Support

This pillar emphasizes the power of prayer and the importance of caring for one another. God calls His people to pray in every circumstance — in suffering, in joy, and in need of healing. It reflects the responsibility we share to support, uplift, and intercede for one another.

At Christ Temple Fellowship, prayer remains central to who we are. We pray for families, individuals, and our community, believing that God still heals and restores. This pillar reinforces the strength found in unity and reminds us that no one has to walk through life alone.

Standing Together on the Five Holy Pillars

These Five Holy Pillars are the spiritual supports that hold our ministry steady. They guide our worship, inform our teaching, and shape how we serve and care for one another. As we continue in this season and prepare for what lies ahead, these pillars remain unshaken.

Christ Temple Fellowship is committed to building lives rooted in Scripture, strengthened by faith, and united in purpose. Whether you join us virtually or connect with us in person, you are invited to stand with us on the solid foundation God has established.
